Thinking this experience would be something of a discovery for me, I was expecting something life changing. The anticipation caused me to scratch at my palms so much they were going raw. With calloused hands and a completely startled aura I am left with no life changing realizations, just myself.
From the beginning it had always been me, myself and I. It’s nice to be reacquainted with an old friend.
